STARS & LUMINOUS is Marriott’s proprietary travel agency program designed to present the highest level of service, experience, and amenities to drive loyalty for our most engaged travel agencies and their valued customers.
STARS represents their highest level of luxury properties, while LUMINOUS represents their lifestyle and boutique hotels.
As a client of The Suite Sojourn, you’ll be eligible for unique Marriott Luminous benefits as part of your stay at participating LUMINOUS Brands. While Marriott STARS includes all properties of the participating hotel brands, only some hotels within the Marriott LUMINOUS portfolio may opt in and offer the $100 USD credit. That is, individual hotels can choose whether or not they want to offer the $100 USD hotel credit, and a majority choose not to offer the $100 credit.
It’s important to note that while all hotels within the Marriott STARS portfolio are obliged to participate in the program, those falling under Marriott LUMINOUS are not bound by this requirement, which adds an additional layer of complexity.

1: Contact The Suite Sojourn with your booking request. Please be sure to include preferred hotel and travel dates.
2: The Suite Sojourn will send you the LUMINOUS Crescent Club room rates and property-specific benefits.
3: The Suite Sojourn will send you a Credit Card Authorization form & request your travel preferences.
4: Once the reservation has been made, you will receive an email confirmation directly from the property and you will see the reservation in your Marriott Bonvoy Account. It’s really that easy! Review your confirmation for accuracy, and let us know if any changes need to be made.
